AACT Classroom Resources: Ready-to-go labs and activities

The online site of the American Association of Chemistry Teachers, teachchemistry.org, contains hundreds of lesson plans and activities for students in all K-12 grades. This program will lead participants through several of the high school and middle school-level activities. The presenters will share experiences and feedback from using AACT resources in their classrooms. Participants can expect to leave with ready-to-go activities and labs that directly apply to their NGSS-based curriculum and the learning needs of their students. Simulations and other online AACT student resources will be covered, including techniques for how to use them most effectively in the classroom and as homework.
